Jamie started dancing at the age of four in her home town in Shropshire, England learning (R.A.D)
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet and (I.S.T.D) Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance Modern and Tap passing all her grades and vocational grades at a very high level. Jamie then travelled Europe performing and choreographing for many professional shows.
Following this she was accepted by the Royal Academy of Dance London where she studied and passed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) going on to teach and enter students in the R.A.D examinations. Jamie has had several years of teaching experience both in England and the UAE, and thrives off sharing her knowledge and watching her students grow and turn into beautiful ballerinas, dancers and performers. She has also choreographed solos/groups for many shows, festivals and TV appearances.
Jamie is delighted to join Dubai Performing Arts and hopes to be a great asset to the team and to share her love and passion of ballet to all of her students.
Lisa is a professional dancer, gymnast and aerialist acrobat from Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a fully UK qualified gymnastics coach holding her British and Scottish Gymnastics Qualifications Level 1,2 and 3, along with being a qualified ISTD teacher of dance. Lisa has years of teaching experience, having taught gymnastics since the age of 15 years old, when she gained her very first teaching qualification. Lisa's Acro classes are dynamic, she teaches a combination of gymnastics skills, such as free cartwheels, back walkovers and impressive multiple tumbles and flips.
Oli studied Music Technology and Music Practice and has vast knowledge of being on both sides of the studio, as a professional singer and sound engineer. He is also a professional musician having played drums for over 15 years, and along with teaching others, and has performed and played on numerous theatre tours and corporate shows. Along with this, he is a self-taught pianist and guitarist and offers lessons in both. His singing know-how goes hand in hand with these attributes and he strives to create ‘artists’ from his pupils.
When it comes to sound engineering both live and in the studio, Oli uses his invaluable experience and keen musical ear to create high quality productions. Oli's passions are performing and teaching and he loves combining both skills when teaching the talented students of DPA with his unique teaching technique.
ISTD Dance Teacher and Resident Choreographer
Jessica grew up in south London and has always had a passion for the performing arts. She was lucky enough to be accepted into the BRITS school (Adele, Jessie J, Katy Melua & Amy Winehouse all studied there) at the age of 16, and gained a triple distinction in her Musical Theatre Diploma. After completing two years at the BRITS school she auditioned for the prestigious Guildford School of Acting, and after a successful 3 years of active studying gained a BA Hons Degree in Musical Theatre.
Since graduating Jessica has been active in the Performing Arts world. She has been involved in many fringe theatre performances, travelling theatre companies, setting up Theatre in Education workshops, directing short plays and has also been working as a professional singer in many popular bands in the UK and around the UAE. Jessica loves working with children, she has been teaching children for over 7 years. Jessica thrives off the passion and excitement performing arts can bring into a child’s life how a child’s confidence and character is enhance and also how through drama, music and dance a child or young person can learn discipline and life skills. Jessica is so excited to be part of DPA, and is really looking forward to the journey ahead….

Acro and Gymnastics Coach
Sara is a 28 year old professional dancer living and working in Dubai. Originally from Dorset in England, Sara started dancing at the age of 3 as a hobby but it soon turned into an obsession and later a career. When she was 16, she was awarded a national scholarship for the Doreen Birds Performing Arts College in London. After graduating, Sara's dance career began to flourish when she started dancing for the likes of Alexandra Burke, Cee Lo Green, Paloma Faith, McFly, one direction, JLS, Cheryl Cole and many more. Performing on various hit TV shows like X FACTOR, BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Since moving to Dubai, Sara has danced in the biggest events such as the Dubai World Cup, Chinese New Year and more. Sara is thrilled to be joining the teaching team at the Dubai Performing Arts Academy and can't wait to watch and help the students turn into amazing all round performers.
